Order of the National Flag, 1st cl., Type 2 Var. 3 ("star reverse" screw back),
#1333,
c. 1950s-60s. One of the early pieces, reportedly made in Czechoslovakia on
commission from the DPRK government. In excellent condition, an attractive piece
with well-preserved enamel. This is a very scarce version of what was at the time
of its issue the highest decoration of DPRK.
Order of the National Flag, 2nd cl., Type 4 Var.3, #14667, circa
late 1950s-1960s. One of the early issues reportedly made in
Czechoslovakia on commission from the DPRK government, this
version features horizontal pin and flat reverse of the finial
balls. Very scarce piece in very fine to excellent condition.
Order of the National Flag, 3rd cl., Type 3 Var. 1 (screw back in silver with star
counter-relief, apparently made in Czechoslovakia), #3783, circa 1950s. The serial
number of this specimen is mentioned in the reference guide by Sessler & McDaniel.
A very
fine example of a rare version of the order.
Order of the National Flag, 3rd cl., Type 4 Var. 3, (pin back version in silver,
apparently of Czech manufacture), #49539, c. 1960s. Note the serial number which
is very low for this version of the order. Excellent condition.
Order of the March 5th Commemoration, c. late 1980s-1990s. Large, relatively well-made piece. EXC condition.
Order of Agricultural District Theses Publication 30th Anniversary Commemoration. One of the scarce DPRK awards of the post-Korean War era. EXC condition.
Military Merit Medal, Type 4 Var. 2, c. 1950s. Soviet-made issue in solid silver.
Unlike all other versions of the medal, this variation has the eyelet "stepped
back" as opposed to being flash with the rest of the reverse. EXC condition.
Agricultural Meritorious Service Medal, Type 1. Excellent condition.
Red Flag Company Badge, 1st Award, circa 1959-60 issue. Early version in silver-
plated brass and enamels, probably Soviet-made. In excellent condition, extremely
uncommon for the early issue.
Red Flag Company Badge, 2nd award, 1959 - early 1960s. Early
type in brass and enamel, an attractive badge showing
attacking North Korean soldiers, tank and airplanes, with a
red star and banner at the top. In very fine to excellent
condition, very uncommon for the early issue.
Red Flag Company Badge, 2nd award, circa 1960s. Very scarce early version in brass
and enamels. Excellent condition.
Red Flag Company Badge, 3rd award. The second highest
award of the "Red Flag Company" series.
Badge of a Shock-Worker of the Chollima Movement, brass version, c. 1960s.
Relatively early issue in VF to EXC condition.
Award Badge of Excellent Shock-Worker of the Chollima Movement, early type in brass and fine quality enamel, c. 1960s. Variation with raised inscription on the reverse of the medallion and no inscription on the reverse of the suspension. A very uncommon piece in EXC condition.
