Order of the March 5th Commemoration, circa late 1980s-1990s.
Gilded brass, 59.1 x 53.2 mm; weighs 53.7 g. Pin back construction. In excellent condition. The gilt finish is perfectly preserved and bright on the obverse; on the obverse, there are some light scuffs and scratches that are not too detractive. The pin attachment is fully functional.
Created to honor land reform ideas that occurred to beloved Leader Kim Il Sung after a trip to the countryside in March of 1946. This was apparently a rather high award judging by the fact that its quality is high compared with other contemporary DPRK decorations. Relatively few have been awarded. <
