In solid sterling silver (925/1000 silver content) with gold plating and enamels, 46.7 mm tall x 44.8 mm wide; weighs 27.3 g not including the screw plate. Variation without a well-defined depression around the screw post, less common than the version with the circular depression.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect, completely free of any wear visible to the naked eye and has only a couple of microscopic contact marks that are hard to find even with a 10x loupe. The details of the starburst, sword and rifle are pristine. The fragile factory-applied dark oxidation finish on the rifle and sword is completely intact. There is attractive patina to silver on both sides. The screw post is full length, over 13 mm, and includes an original screw plate. A superb example through and through!
