Riveted three-piece construction; the wreath with the hammer & sickle emblem and the gold starburst are separate pieces superimposed on the back plate with red flags. High quality of this award is typical of Romanian decorations made even at the end of the communist era.

In excellent condition. The enamels are perfect with the exception of a couple, nearly unnoticeable flakes at the lower edge of the banner. Details of the wreath and starburst are beautifully preserved and crisp. The pin attachment is fully functional.
