The hat is unissued and shows only a storage age, has never been worn. There are a few very small areas where the fur is missing, one on the edge of one of the ear flaps and two at the brim. This damage, obviously acquired in storage, is so minor that it is hidden by the surrounding fur and will be practically invisible when the hat is worn or displayed. The hat is in otherwise mint condition and perfectly clean. A very uncommon hat to find in premium condition, decent size, and with a Soviet era maker's tag still attached!
