The original fitted box has a piece of clear plastic lid broken off. Overall, the lid shows mild to moderate scuffing and scratches but is structurally sound. The woven tape in the colors of the Ukrainian SSR flag is intact, in place and shows no wear.
The Badge is two-part construction, in brass and enamels. Comes with the original hard plastic box with Plexiglas cover. The center medallion rests on a bar with orange and black stripes of the Order of Glory ribbon, and repeats the artwork of the table medal. The base of the badge is lavishly designed to include the military red star, olive and oak wreaths, and the anniversary numbers "XXX 1944-1974". In mint condition throughout; the pin attachment is fully functional. The box shows traces of glue inside on the bottom, left over from a soft padding which is now missing. Otherwise, the box is in excellent condition structurally and in terms of appearance.
The Jubilee Citation is inserted in a paper folder decorated with the image of the jubilee table medal against the orange-and-black ribbon used with the Order of Glory and an olive branch wrapped in a banner in the colors of the flag of the Ukrainian SSR. The Greetings Card was made specially for full cavaliers of the Order of Glory, and has all three classes of them depicted on the cover. The text pays tribute to the heroism and bravery of awardees of all three classes of the Order of Glory, and contains well wishes for them in the future. The specific awardee's name is typed in. In excellent, near-mint condition. Tilting the card to reflect a bright light reveals a few slight scuffs to the coating layer of the paper, completely invisible at a normal viewing angle.

The box is in good condition, showing moderate wear to the lid and separations at the corners of both the lid and the bottom part. Ivan Vozny was born in 1907 in a village in Kiev Region to the family of a peasant. After finishing three classes of elementary school, he worked at the local collective farm. During the Patriotic War, he was in combat since November 1943. He started as a private, combat engineer with the 465th Rifle Regiment, 167th Rifle Division, 1st Guards Army, 1st Ukrainian Front.
On 19 July 1944, he and a group of warriors crossed the Strina River near the village of Glinna (Kozelsk District, Ternopol Region) and disarmed a large number of mines set in the road and the nearby bridge, allowing his regiment to advance. For that, on 5 August 1944 he was awarded with the Order of Glory 3rd class.
On 25 September 1944, now detachment commander, Sergeant Vozny successfully defused 14 mines on a railroad bridge near Komancha, north of Uzhgorod, participated in the capture of a piece of artillery together with the vehicle that pulled it, and killed 4 enemy troops. For that, on 29 October 1944 he was awarded with the Order of Glory 2nd class.
During the final stages of the war, Senior Sergeant Vozny participated in crossing of the River Oder. From 1943 to 1945 Vozny disarmed nearly 1,500 mines, and laid about 4,000 mines. In April 1945 he participated in the liberation of the railroad station and village of Olza, Poland. On 15 May 1946, he was awarded with the Order of Glory 1st class.
Sergeant Major Vozny was discharged to reserve in September 1945, returned to his place of birth, the village of Rulikov, Kiev Region, worked as an electrician. He passed away on 1 March 1985.
This jubilee set is important and scarce because its owner belonged to a rarified group of war heroes, a group much smaller than that of Heroes of the Soviet Union. Full cavaliers of the Order of Glory were equal in status to Heroes of the Soviet Union but there were only 2,671 members of this exalted club compared to 11,657 Heroes of the Soviet Union awarded during WW2.
