In tin and paints, measures 41 mm in height, 35 mm in width. The inscription underscoring the reliefs of the centerpiece reads "II German Meeting for Peace, Unity, and Freedom".

In excellent condition, the paint is intact, there are no dents or dings visible to the naked eye, and the pin attachment is fully functional.

The 1954 youth festival in Berlin was a massive week-long event in East Berlin around 9 June 1954. Organized by the Communist Free German Youth organization (FDJ), it gathered approximately 300,000 young participants in parades and anti-western rallies, aimed at boosting East German socialism.
