The crown is in wave-blue wool blend gabardine with a red velvet band and piping. Includes the original chin cord in gold filigree and the correct full-dress officer cockade. The sweat diamond of the TsEPK Military Garment Factory in Moscow shows a 1988 date of manufacture and Size 54 (US size 6 ¾ / Small). There is a factory quality control stamp on the underside of the sweat band.

Excellent, near-mint condition; shows only storage age. The hat kept its form perfectly, not squished in storage as is often the case. The wool fabric is completely free of moth tracks. Both the exterior and interior are immaculately clean.
