In brass and "cold" enamels, 27.3 mm wide; weighs 9.5 g. Features the national flags of RSFSR (Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic), USSR and Latvian SSR. The inscription in Russian along the edge reads "Days of Culture of Soviet Latvia in RSFSR, 1976". An attractive and well-made piece in excellent condition.

This badge was issued to a participant of the series of events that took place in Russia during 1976 showcasing Latvian culture, literature and arts. There were other such events for various republics, most of them held in the late 50s in Moscow during the Khrushchev reign when a special badge was issued for each of them. Badges of this kind from the 1970s are very uncommon.
