Badge of a Participant or Spectator at the Saaremaa Song Festival of 1972, Estonian SSR.

Brass, 24.0 mm tall x 23.2 mm wide. Excellent condition.

Located off the coast of Estonia, Saaremaa (aka Ezel) is the largest island in the Moonsund (West Estonian) archipelago. During WW2, it was the site of bitter fighting which included amphibious landings by both German and Soviet troops.
