In original sleeve with an essay about the artist and his art in Latvian, Russian, English, and German. Each postcard is also captioned in these four languages. Each postcard is an offset print of a watercolor by Janis Brekte, a Soviet Latvian artist famous for his watercolors of VECRIGA, Old Riga, with its distinct and charming streets and architectural landmarks.

The sleeve shows mild age-wear but is still quite sturdy. The postcards are pristine.
