East Germany, Medal for Outstanding Achievements in Competition, circa 1970s-80s.

In brass and paint, measures 37 mm in height (incl. eyelet), 34 mm in width. The raised motto on the banner in the center medallion reads "Socialism Wins." The name of the medal in raised relief running along the edge of the obverse reads "For outstanding achievements in competition."

In excellent condition: just mild and microscopic pitting to the recessed areas of the obverse, virtually invisible without magnification.
