In gilded brass and enamels, heavy construction. Medallion measures 41.6 mm in height incl. eyelet, 39.8 mm in width. Stamped serial number to the reverse. Variation 2 featuring relatively thin numerals "XXV", although the reverse is as concave as the first version. Excellent quality, similar to that of Mongolian Victory over Japan Medal.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is perfect on both the numeral and suspension. The gilt on the medallion is extremely well preserved and bright with only an attractive mild patina, no significant tarnish or blemishes. The screw post is full length, well over 12 mm, and includes an original screw plate marked "Moscow Artists Cooperative".
