Photo of a Group of WW2 Wehrmacht Soldiers Poking Fun at Stalin, circa 1941.
Measures 3 ½"x2 ¼", printed on matte photo paper by Agfa, watermarked Agfa Lupex. The officer in the center is posing with his head behind an oversized lightweight mask of Stalin of unknown origin and material. The verso is inscribed in very neat small handwriting. As far as we can tell, the first word is "Woroschilov", Marshal of the Soviet Union Kliment Voroshilov. We could not decipher the second word which is unfortunate because it is unclear what Voroshilov had anything to do with the scene in the photo. Overall, a rather unusual WW2 artifact which will add an interesting twist to a collection of WW2 memorabilia.
In excellent condition. The image is in sharp focus, and perfectly developed with excellent contrast. Both sides are exceptionally clean and free of any wear.
Please note that the penny in our photo is for size reference.
