Postcard Red Army Crossing the Sivash, 1954.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused and unmarked; published by the PRAVDA Publishing House, circulation 250,000. The artwork is an offset print of a 1935 huge, 150x300 cm oil-on-canvas painting by H. Samokish depicting a scene from the famous Perekop-Chongar offensive of the Red Army against General Wrangel's army in Crimea in November 1920.
In excellent condition, showing just tiny corner bumps. The verso is attractively age-toned and clean, showing only minimal storage wear.
