The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused, published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation 450,000. The pre-printed special-edition postal stamp features the Soviet and Canadian state flags and the route of the expedition on a map. The expedition, dubbed "The Polar Bridge" started on 3 March and lasted 90 days, with the 2,000-km-long route passing over the North Pole.

In near-mint condition: no visible wear on either side of the postcard.
