Mongolia, Military Academy Graduate Badge, circa 1970s-80s.
In brass and "cold" enamels, 50.2 x 25.6 mm; three-piece construction. There is a Cyrillic abbreviation ЦЕДС ("TsEDS") under the national emblem. Unlike the civilian college graduation "diamonds", this piece features a red star behind the state emblem.
Excellent condition. There is a minor amount of wear to the high points of the central emblem, but its details are still well-defined. The enamel is perfect. The screw post is full length, over 8.5 mm measured from the square retaining nut. Includes unmarked screw plate which is of the period and probably original to the badge.
