The size is continental standard 6" x 4", with a pre-printed postal stamp cancelled with the stamp of a post office branch in Kharkov, Ukraine. Published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The inscription on the verso is in Ukrainian language and contains well wishes on occasion of the anniversary of the Soviet Army Day.

In very good condition, showing minor creases and corner bumps, and - an unusual item of wear! - imprint of someone's teeth, a child's judging by the size of the bite mark.
