The size is continental standard 6" x 4", with a pre-printed postal stamp; postally unused, published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The artwork on the obverse shows the slogan Glory to the Motherland of October instead of the usual Glory to Great October - a rather uncommon addition and, possibly, a propagandistic attempt to pump a little air into the leaking balloon of communist zeal and patriotism, all too obvious in the country at that time. The artist's name, A. Lyubeznov, is printed in the upper left-hand corner on the verso.
