The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused and unmarked. Published by the Latvian Valsis Publishing House, circulation 20,000, very low by Soviet standards. The name of the photographer, J. Poisha, is printed at the bottom of the verso. The ink stamp with the new price of 1 kopek, in effect after Khrushchev's currency reform of 1961, tells us that this postcard was still unsold at least two years after it was printed.

In very good to excellent condition. The paper is uncoated and unbleached; mostly clean with just one faint stain to the upper right-hand corner, and slightly bent and creased along the upper edge. All the wear is barely noticeable and not detractive.
