Badge for 50th Anniversary of VChK-KGB, 1967 issue.

Aluminum, paint, lacquer; 38.9 x 23.0 mm. Excellent condition. Raised logo of the Pobeda Factory in Moscow on the reverse.

The exact criteria for this award - or its specific branch of state security - are unknown at this point, but it was definitely one of the official KGB anniversary issues. In all likelihood, it was awarded to State Security retirees and VIPs.
