Measures 5" x 3", printed on matte photo paper. Both officers are wearing new M43 service tunics, both are decorated. The one wearing glasses has a Medal for Combat Service, Type 1, and another medal. The other officer has an Order of the Red Star, and a Medal for Defense of Leningrad. You cannot judge by the ribbon on a b/w photo but they look the same, so, possibly, both officers distinguished themselves in the defense of Leningrad.

In excellent, superb condition. The image is pristine and in exceptionally sharp focus. The margins around the image and the verso are free of any significant wear.
