Bust of Lenin wearing his trademark cap, circa 1970s-80s.
In Silumin alloy on a plinth of black granite, total height 6 ½", the size of the plinth is 3" x 2 ½" x 1 ¼". Lenin is depicted wearing his trademark rather shapeless worker's cap that he often used to wear: at first to hide from the eyes of the czar's secret police, then for propaganda purposes, for his "I am one with the working class" public image.
In excellent condition. The bust shows no significant wear, and only minimal oxidation and slight tarnish in recessed areas. The plinth shows microscopic chips to a couple or its corners, barely noticeable and not detractive.
Please note that the penny in our photo is for size reference.
