In excellent condition. The medallion is completely free of any wear visible to the naked eye and has only a few microscopic contact marks that could be just barely found under a 10x magnification. The raised details are pristine. The "gilt" mint luster is well-preserved and bright on both sides, having only a few occasional spots of very mild tarnish that does not detract, no significant blemishes. Comes on an original suspension in aluminum with a recent ribbon. The connecting link appears to be of the period.
