Russian Soviet Space Exploration Program Poster "Home at Last", "Yuri Gagarin, The Flight Continues" series, printed in 1990.

Big size, measures 70 x 44 cm (27 ½" x 17 ¼"). Printed on high-gloss heavy stock paper, fine quality piece.

The title of this particular poster is "Home at Last", printed at the top just below the name of the series. The poster photos reflect on Gagarin's long-awaited return home after the world tour following his successful landing. On the photos we see Gagarin with his mother and siblings, as well as during official meetings with Soviet citizens.
The bottom margin shows information about the publisher including the number of prints in circulation (just 3000 copies, a tiny number by Soviet standards) and the retail price of 1 Ruble (a typical cheap price from the Soviet era, before the runaway inflation that hit the Soviet, and later Russian economy starting from the early 90s). This series of posters was published in 1990 ahead of the following year's upcoming 30th anniversary of Gagarin's space flight. The posters were apparently created as educational tools, to be displayed in schools, libraries, museums etc.

The poster is in excellent condition. It shows only barely noticeable wear to the edges, but no tears, scuffs, folds or any other significant damage. The colors are strong, not faded.
Please note that it will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard box.
