BGTO (Be Ready for Labor and Defense) Youth Physical Fitness Badge, 2nd Level, 1972-1991.

The badge is in anodized aluminum, paint and lacquer; measures approx. 21 x 19 mm. Features Roman numeral "II" for completing the requirements of the first (higher) level of the program - i.e. that for ages above 14. The reverse shows raised maker mark of the Moscow Experimental Advertisement Factory which produced many Soviet badges during the 1970s-80s period. In excellent condition.
