In silver-plated and gilded brass and enamel; 31.9 mm wide. Excellent, near mint condition. The enamel and silver finish are pristine. The connecting link appears to be original, and its ends are still joined with solder.

This version of the long service medal was awarded exclusively by MVD to officers of its auxiliary services, primarily firefighters. Unlike the KGB long service medals, it shows no Roman numerals on the obverse, whereas reverse writing does not specify the service (as it does on standard MVD, MOOP and Armed Forces long service medals).
