Emperor Alexander II Coronation Jetton, 1856.
In silver. Measures 22.0 mm wide; weighs 4.1 g. Obverse shows monogram of Alexander II. The reverse shows Imperial crown and raised inscription "Crowned in Moscow 1856".
In excellent condition. Details are exceptionally well- preserved and crisp on both sides. There are occasional tiny contact marks that are nearly unnoticeable to the naked eye. The raised edge is completely free of visible dings.
This attractive medallion was the smallest of several table medals struck at the mint to celebrate the coronation.
