In wool bunting, measures 70" long, 15" across at the hoist. The hoist sleeve is marked with a Soviet GOST manufacturing standard code and 1991 date of manufacture. This type of pennant was hoisted just below the commission pennant on the masthead of the ship of the formation or squadron commander while at anchor. Like the other types of broad pennants, it has a standard USSR naval ensign at its base, but the long part is in beige, with straight sides. Judging by its very large size, this particular broad pennant was intended for one of the Soviet Navy's capital ships.

In pennant is in superb, near mint condition, completely free of stains, significant soiling, mothing or other noticeable damage.
