Brass, silver plating, enamels; 32.9 x 26.5 mm. The inscription in the blue field above the grain elevators is "Narkomzag of the USSR". Very solid, massive construction as compared with the similar, more recent badges of the Ministry of Procurement or Ministry of Bread Products. The serial number "6508" is engraved in the characteristically early, angular font.

In very fine to excellent condition. The enamel has a couple of tiny, nearly unnoticeable surface flakes on the leftmost, extended edge of the red scroll, prefect otherwise. The silver plating is practically untouched with the exception of very minor wear to the high points of the grain elevators. The screw post is slightly over 8 mm in length. Comes with original wing nut marked "KhEO DSO Motor" which has one of the "wing" loops broken off but is nevertheless perfectly functional and fits the screw post very well.
