This is an expansion and improvement of the earlier book by Peters on the same subject. It covers 288 jettons, most of them with b/w photos, and some with drawings of obverse and reverse (although there are a few cases when the authors had only the name and date of the institution of the jetton but no further information or image). Descriptions are very detailed and include the Court official ? in most instances the Emperor himself - that authorized each jetton.

Very informative and well published catalog, certainly a "must have" for the collector of Russian military badges.

The cover shows some minor shelf wear but the book is in excellent condtion otherwise, unused.
