In brass, enamels, and clear resin. Measures 39 mm in height, 31 mm in width, with a horizontal pin attachment. The designation of the badge is spelled out above and below the GDR state emblem.

In good condition, showing cracks to the resin - unfortunately, typical wear for decorations with clear resin coating. However, while wearing it should probably be ruled out, the badge still presents very well in a collector's display.
