East Germany, Commemorative Table Medal with the Monument to Soviet Warrior Liberator in Treptower Park, Berlin, circa 1970s-80s.

In nickel-copper alloy with silver-colored coating, measures 36 mm wide. The raised inscription encircling the sculpture on the obverse reads "Berlin, Treptower Park, Soviet Memorial."

In very good to excellent condition, just minor wear to the coating layer on the reverse.

The Soviet Memorial depicted on the medal was inaugurated in 1949 to commemorate the thousands of Soviet soldiers who fell in the Battle of Berlin.
