East Germany, Customs Service Presentation Table Medal, circa 1980s.
Brass gilt, measures 50 mm across, weighs 50 g. The raised inscription encircling the emblem of the East German Customs Service reads "Customs Administration of the German Democratic Republic." The inscription on the reveres reads "For Protection of the Power of Workers and Peasants."
In very fine to excellent condition: a small scuff on the left side of the obverse, and a few tiny contact points and nicks to the recessed area are not too obvious or detractive.
The medal was awarded for service to German Democratic Republic in its Customs Administration.
