East Germany, Medal for 25 Years of Loyal Service in the Customs Administration of the GDR, circa 1970s-80s.

Brass gilt, measures 32 mm wide. The name of the medal, "Medaille für treue Dienste in der Zollverwaltung der DDR," and the number of years in service are struck on the obverse. Two gold oak leaves on the suspension ribbon signify 25 years of service. The presentation case has black plastic bottom lined with light foam rubber inside, the lid is in Plexiglas.

The medal is in excellent condition, showing small areas of very mild pitting. Both pin attachments are clean and fully functional. The lid of the box is lightly scuffed; the scuffing does not obscure the medal inside.
