Nickel-plated brass, enamels; measures 22.9 x 19.2 mm. Features the colors of the national flag of the Latvian SSR and inscription in Latvian. The quality of this badge is much higher than a typical Soviet souvenir pin of the period. Although it shows a retail price of 60 kopeks on the reverse, this very attractive and well-made piece may have been intended primarily as a commemorative gift to Latvian WW2 veterans and VIPs.

Excellent condition. The enamel and nickel finish are perfect.
