Postcard Seashore Near Kerch, 1977.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", unmailable without a cover, published by the Visual Arts Publishing House, Moscow, circulation 35,000, very low by Soviet standards. The artwork is an offset print of the 1954 oil-on-canvas painting by P. Stolyarenko, showing the shoreline near the Crimean city of Kerch and silhouettes of the warships of the Black Sea Fleet. The painting was on exhibit at the Aivasozovskiy Art Gallery in the town of Feodosiya оn the Crimean Peninsula.
In excellent condition: tiny barely noticeable corner bumps are the only wear.
