Bulgaria, Order of Labor, 2nd class (silver), Type 2, circa late 1970s - early 80s.
In gilded and silver-plated brass, measures 44.5 mm height incl. eyelet x 40.1 mm in width. A late version featuring rays of the starburst extending beyond the pentagon border. Nicely sculptured massive medallion. The reverse has a stamped inscription "Order of Labor in Silver, NRB (People's Republic of Bulgaria)".
Excellent condition. There are only a few minuscule contact marks, no scratches, edge knocks or any other significant wear. The raised artwork and starburst are perfect and crisp. The finish is bright. Includes original suspension of the relatively early Soviet st
