Medallion is in silver gilt and enamels, of riveted two-piece construction (the red star is a separate, superimposed part.) The pendant measures 41.0 mm in height (incl. eyelet), 29.4 mm in width; weighs 21.2 g not including the suspension and connecting link. Overall weight with suspension is 28.1 g. The suspension is in gilded brass and enamels. Stamped mint-mark to the reverse of the pendant. Features a rotating tool-engraved serial number.

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is essentially perfect, shows a beautiful luster and is free of any wear visible to the naked eye. There are only a couple of microscopic hairlines to the star in the center and some microscopic contact marks, all of it completely invisible without magnification. The details of the artwork are perfect and exceptionally crisp. The gold plating on both the suspension and pendant is intact and bright.
