Special-Issue Government Postal Cover Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Soviet Domestic Air Mail Service, 1983.

The size is 6 �" x 4 �", with a pre-printed postal stamp. Postally unused, published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The special-issue commemorative postal stamp is inscribed "USSR POST 1983". The artwork in the left pane commemorates the 60th anniversary of the opening of the first commercial passenger air route Moscow - Nizhniy Novgorod, the very first flight of which also carried a load of mail.

In excellent condition.
