On the reverse, the Russian railroad emblem of anchor and axe is a separate superimposed part in solid gold. The bottom of the reverse has a small image of a frog, the unofficial mascot of the institute. As typical of this jetton, there are no hallmarks.

Outstanding, excellent condition. The enamel is pristine and exhibits a magnificent luster. There is almost none of the usual wear to the exposed parts of the crown, whereas the rest of the artwork is literally pristine, with exceptionally crisp details. A truly superb piece!
