The set includes a tea pot with lid and two cup-and-saucer pairs, exquisitely painted with an autumnal foliage motif. The teapot stands a little over 5" to the tip of the lid. The cups measure 2 ¼" in height, 4" across at the lip, 2" wide at the base. The saucers are 6" across. Each item is maker marked on the bottom (fig. # 493 in Volume One of Marks on Soviet Porcelain, Faience, and Majolica, 1917-1991 by Nasonova et al). The red "MADE IN USSR" denotes that this set met the highest LFZ quality control requirements, the usual Soviet-era practice for items designated for export.

In excellent, outstanding condition. Only light wear to the gold band rimming the cups' lip shows that the cups have been used. No other wear or damage visible to the naked eye.
