Badge of a Sports Champion of Estonian SSR Among School-Age Youth, #66, 1946.
Brass, gilt, silver, enamels; measures 26.8 x 17.9 mm; weighs 5.2 g without the screw plate. Two-piece construction: the silver figure of an athlete is a separate superimposed part. Stamped serial number "66" to the reverse. Extremely well-made and detailed piece despite its small size.
Excellent condition. The raised details of the artwork and lettering are nicely preserved and crisp. The enamel is perfect. A good amount of the original gold plating is present on both sides of the badge. The screw post is full length, approx. 7.5 mm, and includes the original screw plate
