In folder format, 5 ½" x 3 ½", unmailable without a cover, published by the PLAKAT ("Poster") Publishing House, Moscow, circulation 1.1 million. The gilded inscription under the artwork reads "Day of International Solidarity of Workers." The inscription inside contains well wishes on occasion of both the 1 May and the 9 May (Victory Day) holidays, a rather typical practice for these two holidays, so close in the calendar.

In excellent condition, minimal wear to the fold on the outside, otherwise near-mint. The text of the inscription is crisp and perfectly legible.
