Photo Postcard with a view on the hotel Leningradskaya in Moscow, circa 1958-59, inscribed in English on the verso.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused and unmarked; publisher and circulation unknown. The photo presents a vew of the façade of the Leningradskaya hotel in Moscow. The inscription on the verso was apparently written by an aspiring actor hoping to land a part in a movie to be shot in the Soviet Union. The abundance of various kinds of mistakes in the message makes the reader believe that basic literacy was not a job requirement in the film industry.
In very good to excellent condition, showing a faint water stain to the right side of the verso, and trace

In very good to excellent condition, showing a faint water stain to the right side of the verso, and traces of water exposure to the obverse. The latter, however, is visible only when tilting the postcard to reflect a bright light.
