Identification Breast Badge of a Staff Member of the Rizhskoe Vzmorye ("Riga's Seashore") Military Medical Rehabilitation Center, Latvian SSR, circa 1970s-80s.

Anodized aluminum, paint, lacquer; 22.3 x 33.2 mm. A large badge featuring a stylized Navy flag combined with a wavy line symbolizing Latvian SSR, main building of the resort, and medical emblem. There is a provision at the bottom for the name sticker of the staffer. The inscription "Military Sanatorium Rizhskoye Vzmorye" is in Russian.
