Also known by its Russian-language acronym ЛБОРФ ("LBORF"), the Liepaja Base of the Ocean-Going Fishing Fleet was one of the Latvian SSR state companies created in 1964 as a result of a split-up of a larger Latvian Fishing Fleet Base organization. Its 25th anniversary badge is a very uncommon piece and also one of the last featuring the flag of Soviet Latvia.
