The postcard is #9 of a series presenting revolution-themed posters, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the October Revolution. The artist's name, N. Dolgorukov, is printed in the lower left-hand corner on the verso. The artwork and Lenin's quote under it refer to the moment at the II Congress of the Soviets when Lenin announced: "Comrades!
