
WW2 Soldier's Postcard Home, 10 September 1943.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", written on a regular commercially available postcard. Three canceled postal stamps are affixed to the obverse. The cancel says "Moscow" but the date is too faint to read. Next to the stamps is the black stamp of the military censor. The address is written out in Russian for postal workers to understand but the message on the verso is in Georgian language, dated 10 September 1943.

We had several other letters and postcards sent by this soldier, dated before and after September 1943 and having a military unit field post number as the return address. So, it appears that the sender got a chance to get away from the war in September 1943 and spend some time in Moscow.
