The caption under the image reads "Not having enough food, the Germans made a habit of looting the dwellers of the territories they occupied, taking away bread, vegetables, farm animals, and even personal possessions. Such barbarian behavior led to armed resistance by the citizens. Driven to desperation, the peasants of one Polish village, having armed themselves with whatever was available, suddenly rushed the German looters and killed most of them while those still alive had to

The poster was an appeal to Slavic solidarity among the Russian population (Polish population never felt solidarity with Russia for all the obvious reasons.)
In very good to excellent condition. Most of the tears to the right margin have been repaired and reinforced with acid-free library tape. The frayed lower margin is also repairable in the same manner, if desired. The colors and text are vibrant, the overlay of colors is very precise.
